What is the invitation event about?

WOWPASS is currently running an invitation event for anyone to invite friends and share cashback benefits! Invite your friend and receive your awards within the event period. The event is valid until December 31, 2024.
The event is valid until December 31, 2024.If you are inviting your friends, you can receive a cashback of 1,000 KRW per each invited friend (The invited friend should get a WOWPASS card and register it on the app in order to be considered successful). You can get up to 1,000,000 KRW as invitation reward.
If you are being invited, you can receive 0.5% automatic cashback each time you charge a WOWPASS card in foreign currency (You will not receive the cashback from charging with KRW). Cashback applies to a total top-up amount of up to 1,000,000 KRW (which is maximum 5,000 KRW in cashback amount)
When does the event finish?

The invitation event is until Dec 31, 2024. If you are invited, you must register both the invitation code and your WOWPASS card on the app in order to receive the 0.5% cashback reward.
What happens to my benefits once the event is finished?
•
As an inviter, if you have invitation rewards to claim, you will not be able to claim them after the event finishes. So we recommend you to claim them before the event is finished. As an invitee, you are eligible for cashback reward of 0.5% for any amount charged up to 1,000,000 KRW. The claimed cashback will be added to your total card balance and will not expire even if the event expries. However, any top-up that occurs after the event is over will give out cashback. Any claimed cashback amount will be treated the same as a normal card balance.

What are the benefits if you invite a friend?

If you are inviting a friend, you can receive a cashback of 1,000 KRW per each invitation (Your invited friend should issue a WOWPASS card and register it on the app in order for you to receive the benefits). You will be eligible for receiving the event cashback rewards up to 1,000,000 KRW.
What are the benefits if you are being invited?
•
If you are invited, you will get 0.5% cashback reward once you charge WOWPASS card using foreign currency. (You should apply the invitation code to your app account and then add your WOWPASS card.) 0.5% cashback reward may apply to a total charge amount of up to 1,000,000 KRW (which is maximum 5,000 KRW cashback reward).
WIll I receive 0.5% cashback reward if I issue and charge my WOWPASS card in foreign currency?

Yes. After issuing your card with any foreign currency, you can add the card to an app account that has an invitation code applied. In 5 minutes, you can receive the 0.5% cashback reward.
Will I receive 0.5% cashback reward if I charge my WOWPASS card multiple times?
•
You will receive the benefits even if you charge or issue your WOWPASS card more than once. However, 0.5% cashback applies to a total charge amount of up to 1,000,000 KRW. (Cashback amount up to 5,000 KRW)
When will I receive my invitation reward?
•
Once your invited friend registers your invitation code to his/her app, and adds their card, you will receive a push notification!
Tap the notification → Tap 'Claim Rewards'
to claim all the invitation reward available for you to receive.
•
Even if you did not tap the notification, you can still check and claim your rewards using the event banner available on the app's home screen.
I have applied my invitation code and charged my WOWPASS card but did not receive any cashback reward.
•
Even if you have applied your invitation code to the app, the cashback reward is only given when the WOWPASS card is registered to the app and charged using foreign currency. Once charged, you will receive the cashback within 5 minutes.

As the card's total balance is limited to 1,000,000 KRW, you will not receive the cashback if your current balance is expected to exceed 1,000,000 KRW when the cashback is received. In such cases, you will receive the benefits when your card balance would be less than 1,000,000 KRW when the cashback is received.

How can the existing WOWPASS members who already issued a card before the event participate?

For the members who already registered their card before the event, the 0.5% cashback reward is automatically applied for any future transaction during the even period. You can check it on the home screen.
How can I apply the invitation code?
•
Before registering a card on your WOWPASS app, you can apply the invitation code using the event banner at the top of the home screen.
How can I check my invitation code?
•
After you register your WOWPASS card on the app, please tap the top event banner of the home screen and click on the "Invite Now" button to check and share your invitation code! (The invitation code is offered to only those who registered their WOWPASS card on the app.)
